Funeralocity Reports Honolulu Funeral Prices Higher than National Average

HONOLULU, HI, November 22, 2019 – When Funeralocity.com released averages for the most expensive cities to have funerals, one in particular was not surprised: Honolulu, whose prices are typically higher than mainland services and products. Said Honolulu’s Business Journal: “We all know the cost of living in Hawaii is higher than the Mainland’s, but apparently the cost of dying is higher, too. Nearly 17% higher.

“Honolulu funeral homes average $8,655 for a single service, which is 16.6 percent higher than the national average,” Ed Michael Reggie, founder of  Funeralocity.com.
